With having to give the El Jacal in Fort Morgan such a low rating for poor service I am very surprised by the difference this place has to offer. Never a wait and the service is great! The food is much better and I even find the prices to be better suited. Food comes hot and seems fresh. I feel like with the difference with the El Jacal in Fort Morgan to Brush is like comparing the evil stepsister to Cinderella.
They did give them to me for $6.99 but my takeout order took almost 30 minutes when they quoted me 10-15. French fries with green chili and cheese took them almost 30 minutes to make me for takeout. Let that one sink in.
I get home and open the fries up and the container is maybe half full, and that's being generous. Very tiny portion for trying to charge me $15, honestly it isn't even close to worth $6.99 either. I feel a little robbed by this. I was hoping for a nice Mexican restaurant in Brush but this is not it.
Ordered takeout "Chili cheese fries" on the menu and it states it's your choice of bacon or steak on them for a total of $6.99. They gave me a price of $7.55 after tax on the phone. I arrive and they say my new total is nearly $15 because I asked for steak. They tried to charge me an additional $5.75 for steak when the menu clearly says it is included with the green chili fries.
I pointed that out to them and we read the menu together and it says the price is $6.99 for my fries. She says she needs to get a manager in order for them to honor their menu price. Ridiculous. Why even have a menu with prices if it isn't correct? I can understand a small mistake but not including that steak is an extra $5.75? Who in their right mind would pay nearly $15 for some fries and chopped up steak(NOT STRIPS, IT'S CHEAP MEAT).
I have also been here for a full dinner and the food was okay. I'm just not a fan of the pricing at this point.
The food here is very disappointing! Not very good flavor at all. A cup of quest is $5.50 and chips are extra!! Huevos racheros are very dry with not much chili and only a spread of beans and over easy eggs are more like over medium. Customer service is horrible especially if you complain. And because they say they open at ten doesn't mean they really do. If you want quality Mexican food with good customer service I suggest going else where!!

Honestly i didnt enjoyed my food. Not fresh, and had no taste. Only pro would be the place is very nice and nice people at the counter. Thats about it.
