They did get their showers working on Monday morning though, so I got to take a nice shower before heading back out on the road.
Even if you don't like subway. There's a pizza hut, Chinese buffet, and a Wendy's basically connected to the place.
So I called from 10 miles away while my truck is getting unloaded, and I asked the girl on the phone do you have showers? Yes, she says, $10 or free with 50 gallons diesel purchase. Cool. I drive here and fill up my rig with fuel. It's Saturday and I'm absolutely stuck here until Monday. I go inside to get my shower and the guy at the desk says "oh, yeah our showers are out of order". He says the water heaters have been turned off for a couple days because of a gas leak!
Ate at subway here. Had 2 people working but only one making sandwiches. Need better training.
Good peaceful spot to break....one problem tho...its not open 24hrs
Very disappointing the gas station is very limited the truck stop side of it in products that they have available for people driving cars the truck stop also had a Subway shop in there that closes way before the truck stop does very friendly staff but don't act like they really have a clue what they're doing the gentleman that ran the service desk at the gas station side was very helpful Bruce was a very respectful and helpful person as we had broke down and he was able to help me get help right away is a truck stop that no longer does server-side vehicles they just if you need gas it's a place to go
